Snowflakes

It is said that no two snowflakes are identical. I don’t know how anyone could prove this since they melt so fast and are so small and incredibly intricate. I guess it requires faith.

It is also said that no two fingerprints are identical. Of course we know this has been proven to be true. But imagine when fingerprint technology and science were first introduced, there must have been faith involved to believe and trust what was being revealed.

Travel back to when the virgin Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and the seed of Jesus was implanted in her. Mary must have had some intense faith to say “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true,” in Luke 1:38.

I want that kind of faith… I strive to have that kind of faith.

This is the season of Christmas when we celebrate the long awaited hope of the world coming from Heaven to Earth. May we all turn our heart toward the Father and have the faith of Mary to say “May everything you have said about me come true.“
